After reading all these websites, I learned how to use garlic to treat my yeast infection. This is how this yeast infection treatment goes. All of the websites recommended that I break off a clove of garlic and peel it. Then I was to cut it in half and sew a string through it. The purpose of the string was to remove the garlic after inserting it into my vagina. I had to stick the piece of garlic in my vagina over night. The reason being is that even though you insert the garlic in the vagina, you can taste it almost immediately in your mouth, so that is why they recommend you do it overnight. So I did just that and they were right, I could taste the garlic in my mouth even though it never went near my mouth.
In the morning I woke up and pulled the piece of garlic out. The reason that garlic works is because when you cut it in half, garlic reacts to the cut and goes into a defensive mode where it releases antibacterials.
